Dacw ‘Nghariad

Another brief trip to Wales, something I wish were able to do more here on SOTI, so tell your Welsh singer friends to upload more videos!

I first heard this song from the singing of the American quartet Navan, who perform their own vocal arrangements of traditional songs from Anglo-Celtic cultures. This version by Eve Goodman is gorgeous in its simplicity. The song features a response using the Welsh lilt.
